Ministering to the

University Community

St. John University Parish is a community of Christians in the Roman Catholic tradition. Our Central Mission is to minister to the University Community, which draws people seeking truth and healing from all over the city, the state, the country and the world. Our unity in Faith and Sacraments transcends our diversity. We are called to grow in our faith and to share that faith with our parish family, with those newly arrived in our community, with those whose service has led them away from the church and with all who seek God. We are committed to sharing the community we enjoy through reaching out in love to those who surround us and to the larger communities of which we are a part. We try to do this by utilizing all the God-given talents of the total parish family in worship, in educational efforts and in outreach. We are committed to the goals of evangelization, reconciliation and ecumenism.
